Would you like to give something other than just bread? Then make this healthy banana bread. Also nice to have breakfast at home or as a snack.

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 50 grams pitted dates
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 100 grams of almond flour
  • 50 grams of oatmeal
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • Handful of unroasted nuts 
  • Salt

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.
  2. Mix the bananas with the dates in the food processor until smooth.
  3. 'Pulver' the oatmeal in your food processor into flour.
  4. In another bowl, beat the eggs until fluffy and add some salt. Mix this with the banana puree.
  5. Then add the almond flour and oatmeal flour to the batter and stir well
  6. Then add the baking powder and mix until you have a smooth batter.
  7. Finally, mix in the unroasted nuts.
  8. Pour the mixture into the cake tin and it's ready to go in the oven!
  9. Bake your banana bread in 45-50 minutes.
  10. Do you notice that the top is getting too dark? Then cover it with baking paper.
  11. Check whether your banana bread is done by inserting a skewer. Is it clean and dry when you take it out? Then your bread is ready. Otherwise, extend the baking time for a few more minutes.
  12. Let the banana bread cool on a wire rack
